NiP ease past HellRaisers

On de_dust2, NiP, who got to play as Terrorist first, kicked things off with a B push that wreakd havoc in HellRaisers' defense. After making it 3-0 fairly easily, the Swedes picked up the first gun round of the match with a mid-B split, with Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg opening things up in the site with two crucial entry frags.

NiP remained in the driving seat for the next few rounds and made it seven in a row for them, until a double kill from Kyrylo "⁠ANGE1⁠" Karasiow in long frustrated the home side as they were left without money to plant the bomb.

But the Swedes responded in convincing fashion by turning towards the A site, with Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund getting three kills to deny HR the retake. A Desert Eagle double from Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev in the following round allowed HellRaisers to win the eco, but NiP quickly regained control of proceedings as they secured a 13-2 lead, with Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill getting some crucial AWP frags towards the end of the half.

On the CT side, NiP decided to go aggressively in the pistol round and rushed middle with two of their players, who ended up getting taken down, which paved the way for HR to win the round. The Ukrainian side went on to win the following two anti-eco rounds to reduce the deficit to 5-14, but NiP proved superior in gun play as they secured a 16-5 win.

Next up was de_inferno, where NiP once again came off the brighter following a perfect retake in A in the pistol round. After losing the first eco round, HR went on a full buy but the move did not pay off as they lost the round and four guns as well.

With the scoreline 4-0 in favour of NiP, HR then finally managed to break through the Swedes' defense as Emil "⁠kUcheR⁠" Akhundov got three kills to his name in A. The Ukrainians would close the gap to just one round at 3-4, but NiP never lost the grip on the game and kept their momentum going as they went into half-time up 10-5.

In the second half, NiP piled more misery on HR by winning the pistol round thanks to a a spectular ace from Patrik "⁠f0rest⁠" Lindberg, who would also prove decisive in the first gun round, in which he got three kills in quick succession during a fake in A. One single round was all that HR managed to get while playing on the CT side as they could not stop NiP from running out 16-6 winners and advancing to the semi-finals.
