ALTERNATE reveal new lineup

Team ALTERNATE have announced that they have put together a new CS:GO squad ahead of the Acer A-Split Invitational.

The future of ALTERNATE's CS:GO division had been open to question following a series of disappointing results and also the shocking ESEA ban handed to Simon "⁠smn⁠" Beck.

With TakeTV's Acer A-Split Invitational due to take place this weekend, in Krefeld, ALTERNATE have put an end to speculation by announcing their new lineup, featuring former mTw trio Patrick "⁠KRAEUTERHUMPEN⁠" Jakobi, Niclas "⁠enkay J⁠" Krumhorn and Florian "⁠syrsoN⁠" Rische.

The rest of the team will consist of Robin "⁠r0b⁠" Barth, formerly of logiX, and Jürgen "⁠skAi⁠" Rabl, who is known for his time in NOD.

"We are thrilled to have received the opportunity to play for ALTERNATE and create team that is not just a mixture of experienced players and young talents but also one where there is a great atmosphere," Krumhorn said.

"Of couse, the first weeks and months will not be easy because there is a lot of catching up to do, but are confident that this lineup will be successful in the long run.

"We would like to thank ALTERNATE for the confidence they have in us."

ALTERNATE, who will take on mousesports, Planetkey Dynamics and myXMG in the group stage of the Acer A-Split Invitational, now have:

u have to understand there is this business in atleast german esports where u have to have connections to get to high-tier teams, which means there is just a small amount of players left for new lineups because most of the proteams dont want to teach aseries playing gamers their style, so its very hard as talented player to get their. do you trust german onliners? yep we dont either :D that might be some reason, but how to impress on lan when u cant attend it or having a shitty team. might be otherwise but its my experience from the last 1,5 years playing more in esl etc.

There are enough free agents right now in germany and Alternate should be big enough to pick Spiidi, Denis and Krystal. Next major stickermoney incoming. :O

since the old alternate lineup got kicked due to no results its pretty obvious they wont go back to alternate/alternate wont offer them anything. they arent even free agents since they are under contract with penta.

Well its just krystal who played for Alternate and as i said this orga should be big enough to "buy" these 3 guys maybe. Stickermoney will return that anyway. Together with Tizian and maybe one young talent they will definetly do better than this.
