Mythic acquire anger

Mythic were one of the few unaffected by the North American shuffle, as the community calls it, up until the last few days of 2014, although after Todd "⁠anger⁠" Williams was left out of Denial, Mythic have used him in on-line matches in CEVO-P.

The team's captain, Alexander "⁠LeX⁠" Deily, has informed HLTV.org that the move is now official, as we see Michael "⁠agM⁠" Abood departing from the roster due to the player's "restrictions", while being replaced by anger.

LeX has given us a statement about the move, shedding some light on the decision, as well as the new acquisition:

"I'm proud to announce that Todd "anger" Williams will be joining us as our permanent 5th for the upcoming season. I met Todd at ESEA S17 LAN and admired the fact that his goals, ambitions, his aspirations and motivation to continue competing in CS:GO mirrored my own. After the Denial fiasco, that left him in a tight spot team wise. No one should doubt Todd's dedication to the art and his desire to be the best. He fits a common mentality on Mythic and will be a fantastic fit." LeX told HLTV.org

"As for Mike "agM" Abood, I consider him a close and loyal friend. This was the hardest decision I've had to make in CS:GO to date. I'm not a native to the CS scene, I don't take part in "NA Shuffle" drama, I want a stable roster with people who share a common passion and desire to work toward a common goal. But the bottom line is this, 2015 is going to be a big year for North American CS and I want my team to be a part of all of it, and if staying true to my principles meant keeping Mike and not competing, my team's goals would never be reached. It's unfortunate but the reality is Mike is a fantastic competitor, friend, and player that will find a home regardless of his restrictions.

Moving forward, Mythic is going to be a force in the North American scene. We've been close to the top before, I won't let any one of us quit until we've proven ourselves as top talent in CS:GO. Todd will help us reach that goal, as he unequivocally brings experience and insight to the game that will give us an edge we previously lacked. This roster is final, we are using our time now to form bonds that escape most top North American teams and trust in this newly forged brotherhood to acheive anything we set our minds to. This is the dream.

We will be competing in ESEA Invite, CEVO-Professional and will be attending Clutch Con 2015 in Denver, CO. Thank you for all of your support along the way, and to all of our soon-to-be fans I can only tell you to keep your eyes open to the future, as we plan to be a major part in it."

The team currently sits at third place of the CEVO-P league with two wins from two matches, including a 16-0 sweep of Area51 and a scoreline 16-7 against VexX.
