CPH Wolves release team
Copenhagen Wolves have announced via their website that they have released their CS:GO division with immediate effect.
The Danish team had been left with a four-man roster since parting ways with Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander in the aftermath of the GDK Finals after he allegedly threatened to boycott the event due to his his girlfriend not being allowed into the venue.
Later on, CPH Wolves added former dignitas ingame leader Henrik "FeTiSh" Christensen as a stand-in for the MLG X Games Aspen qualifiers, but they failed to get one of the two spots at the North American event that were up for grabs.

Pimp & co released by CPH Wolves
In a statement issued on CPH Wolves' website, the Danish organisation explains that it decided against renewing the CS team's contracts, which expired on December 31, after negotiations with the players hit a stumbling block.
"We made Pimp and co. an offer and after a few negotiating meetings it was clear Copenhagen Wolves’ new strategy didn’t align with the expectations of the team," said CPH Wolves' Esport manager Frederik Byskov.
"We part ways without any bad feelings and wish the team the best of luck in their future.
"However, the Counter-Strike adventure continues in Copenhagen Wolves with a new team soon to be announced. Who, when and where will be revealed on a later date."
This means that the following players are now free to join a new organisation:
Jacob "Pimp" Winneche
Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye
Philip "aizy" Aistrup
Nicolaj "Nico" Jensen
Lukas 'gla1ve' Rossander
