emuLate cancel for KODE5

We understand that French team emuLate will not be attending the KODE5 finals this weekend. The news comes from Team-aAa.com.

emuLate, the French WCG champions will not be able to attend the event due to a lack of visas and passports. They were drawn into Group B along with mousesports, HellRaisers, TeG and DarkPassage, however it is reported that Mickael "mSx" Cassisi has not recieved his passports and the other players have not recieved Visas.

Group B is now one team short, and KODE5 have not yet announced what will happen. It is likely that one team from Group D will move to Group B to make the group numbers equal.

UPDATE: Due to this mornings event, Roccat have been moved from Group A to Group B. DamageControl have moved from Group D to Group A

I'm kinda agree with you, it's sad from Russia's side. On the other hand, does France has anything with cold war between SU and USA? I didn't get your point.

I meant in the regard that it even requires a freaking visa to go anywhere, why cant we just travel freely, of course no French person would wish to stay in Russia, and CLEARLY it is for a "sporting" event, so what the hell is the problem... The whole world is so paranoid and it is annoying me.. :)

omg, groupchanges and stuff, right before the event... That sucks quite hard. Bad luck for roccat, I feel sorry for them. But on the other hand, I think they have better chances in their new group. And guys, dunno what happened about Visas/passports but I don't think it's emL's fault, it's more like administrative delays or something like that. You can't control everything. And if it's their fault, well, they suck and that's it :/

Too bad for emulate. As for Russia, it's people are friendly and kinda childish as it comes to what the president tells them. Btw, in Russia you will be able to see S class mercedeses and 10€ worth žigulis. No midclass cars at all. And the black Mercedeses are likely the property of some mafias or the russian secret intelligence. Not kidding :>
