xartE steps in for 3DMAX in Katowice
3DMAX have confirmed to HLTV.org that Mikko "xartE" Välimaa will step in for the team at the offline qualifier for ESL One Katowice.
The Finnish team secured a place at the event in Katowice following the disqualifications of WinneR and Epsilon as Valve looks to tackle the issue of match-fixing in e-sports.
Shortly after the announcement from ESL, Joona "natu" Leppänen revealed that he would not be able to attend the event as it falls on the same day as his wedding, which left 3DMAX on the lookout for a last-minute replacement.

xartE will replace natu in Katowice
Mikko "xartE" Välimaa is no stranger to the Finnish team, which he represented from August 2014 to January 2015, when he and Timo "REFLEX" Rintala were replaced by Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Tom "stonde" Glad.
"Quite obviously xartE is a very skilled player, but most importantly he was a very easy choice for us to make as we know what we get and he plays any type of role without a problem," Leppänen told HLTV.org.
"Those are key components with short preparation time."
3DMAX will take part in the offline qualifier for ESL One Katowice with:
Jesse "KHRN" Grandell
Taneli "disturbed" Veikkola
Aleksi "allu" Jalli
Tom "stonde" Glad
Mikko "xartE" Välimaa (stand-in)
