FlipSid3 to Katowice with DavCost

FlipSid3 Tactics will attend the offline qualifier for ESL One Katowice with Vadim "DavCost" Vasilyev as a stand-in, the team have told HLTV.org.

The Russian player had been expected to travel to Katowice with FlipSid3 after helping the team to reach the semi-finals of the second European online pre-qualifier as a stand-in.

Contacted by HLTV.org, Vladyslav "⁠bondik⁠" Nechyporchuk confirmed that it will be Vadim "⁠DavCost⁠" Vasilyev playing for the team at the Polish tournament, which will run from February 14-15 at the Angelo hotel.

s1mple will be replaced by DavCost

The Russian player will step into the shoes of Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev, who is unable to attend the event because of his ESL ban.

FlipSid3 Tactics will attend the offline qualifier for ESL One Katowice with:

I can't remember names exactly but I know he was in M5 with AdreN and Dosia, they weren't a top 5 team but they were up there in top 10-15 area. I vaguely remember him playing with Kucher as well, possibly a KerchNet lineup? It was 5-6 years ago so my memory is a bit rusty

5-6 years ago? impossible.it would be last 3 years of 1.6 and dosia played in m5 with fox,edik,hooch+1(dont remember exactly,maybe lex but it wasnt davcost for 100%) and they were in top8.adren didnt even play that time as far as i remember(he switched to different game back in the days). and he didnt play for karchnet that time either.kucher played with z1,blade,maybe bondik+ange1 and they were top2 ua team.my memory is rusty aswell but im 100% sure that he didnt play with dosia,adren or kucher in teams like m5 or karchnet...

Why s1mple is banned? Is there any proofs if he did cheat? I couldn't find any. Or didn't he just want to use ESL Wire and that's the reason why he is banned?

he was banned a while ago then tried to evade it so it was extended

He was caught cheating, and got banned. Before the ban ran out, he tried to circumvent it by using another account on ESL. It was uncovered, and his ban was extended.
