New Danish team spawned
The Danish scene has been very unstable for a long long time now. With mTw being the dominating force in Denmark, teams have had a hard time finding what it takes, to tip them off the throne. Today a new team spawn, based on friendship.
A team based upon friendship might not sound too serious, but it might be a key for success?
This new team have gathered five very different players, in their own way. Players formerly seated in ideal, Gravitas and SoA will from this day on, be playing with the same tag. The name of the new is Team mates, based upon the friendship within the five guys.
Team mates management states:
It takes talent to be on the top in a game like Counter Strike 1.6, but the actual success peaks when both talent and friendship comes together in one great harmony. It my pleasure to announce that today 5 of Denmark's greatest gamers come together under the same tag. The players of the new team have all played together before on some of the best teams in Denmark like Ideal Gaming, Gravitas Gaming and Spirit of Amiga.
We are hoping to start the things off with a bootcamp before summer. We will also try if possible to attend the danish qualifier for DreamHack summer the 31st of May on Boomtown Copenhagen internet cafe. The team will further more; if possible, compete in all the greater tournaments falling in our interest in Europe.
"Team Mates" isn't exactly a normal name - not even in CS-relation. We count on and hope that we won’t be called this for long. This name is naturally a temporary name, which we will be using until a head sponsor or an organization steps up and claims a new team name. We will gladly be taking any help or support to us in all possible ways. As things are now, we are in contact with several prospects and/or candidates for the spots to be filled. Since nothing is in place, at all, we are hoping to hear from others, who could have an interest in having what hopefully will be one of Denmark's best teams under their wings.
In "Team Mates" you are given a team with a lot of talent, ambition and a last, but not least an incredible friendship. The goal of the team is to gain and maintain a top3 in every danish major tournaments, and attend whatever is possible outside of Denmark. We will therefore compete in both the next EPS- and DEL-qualification and hopefully soon in many international tournaments around europe.

As you might have noticed, Marc "nexiz" Woolrych has once again found a team after his "cheating" case with ESL. His ban from all ESL and SLAP activities will expire the 6th of June and is once again allowed to played with a team in the mentioned league and event.
The team is without a organization and will be fighting hard over the coming months, to prove their worth to any upcoming organization.
As written in the statement, the team will start off with a boot-camp prior to the DreamHack Summer qualifier in Copenhagen. Upcoming goal has to be qualifying for the two best Danish leagues, being DEL and EPS.
