TaZ: "We're still learning with kuben"

We caught up with Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas for an interview about Virtus.pro's matches throughout the entire tournament, especially the quarter-final against Keyd Stars.

Virtus.pro got a favorable draw in the form of Keyd Stars in the quarter-finals, but after disposing of the Brazilian Mirage quickly, the Poles found themselves in trouble after Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and company took an overtime win on Overpass.

That was all she wrote for Keyd Stars though, as Virtus.pro's Counter-Terrorist side on Nuke proved to be too strong for them to deal with.

We managed to snatch Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas for a brief interview, where the Polish veteran talks about all five maps the team has played so far, and Jakub "kuben" Gurczyński's contribution to the team since he arrived.

The show continues with the last quarter-final of NiP and TSM at 13:00 , followed up by the two semi-finals and with that, we will bring you even more coverage.

So Kuben is calling a lot more than I thought he would. I thought his main job would be outside of the match. It's probably good for a team like VP to have someone from the outside leading, because they seem like a team who can argue over small things easily, I think it was the case when Taz was leading (judging only from live footage, I don't understand polish).

I mean... Taz didn't express it well in this interview imo. Kuben sometimes helps in the begining of the rounds to give neo some tips how opoonent plays and which tactic would be the best in certain round but mid-round calls are 99% on neo's shoulders.

Additionally and surprisingly, TaZ is the most quiet person during the game. He only shouts/motivates after winning round.

Yeah, he changed a lot. Few years ago even though kuben was IGL taz was sometimes stepping in and they were argueing during the game. :D Now he just tries to do his job and let other do their.

I'd love to see you going from happy to sad mode. You are probably the most arogant fanboy on this site. Fnatic are favourites against VP but you act like it is 90/10 odds. No it's not, it's 55-45 for fnatic. Buy a brain tumorjack.

Take a chill pill dude. He just noted out the reaction Taz made. He wasn't saying Fnatic will destroy VP or anything like that.

When i watched pov VP I have kind of feeling, that sometimes kuben more irritated rest of the team than helped them. For example with advice"check teammates screen when you are in smoke" lol. But since they invited him to the team they need to give him more credit.

I'd love to see them beat fnatic, but honestly it's not going to happen. They won a bo3 against fnatic once and lost like 5. Shame, cus I think the grand final won't be packed tomorrowif vp won't advance past fnatic.
