CPH Games group draw

The draw for the Copenhagen Games group stage has taken place, with the 32 teams having learned their fate.

As the teams were setting up inside the Øksnehallen exhibition centre, Copenhagen Games revealed the composition of the groups, each featuring two invitees and two sides coming from the qualifiers.

The group draw has thrown up quite some interesting match-ups already, such as an all-Polish clash between INSHOCK and Gamers2 and interesting Nordic showdowns between Menace and dignitas, Team SoloMid and Acer, and Orbit and 3DMAX.

Virtus.pro should not have to work hard to top their group

The top two sides from the group stage, in which every match will use a best-of-three format, will advance to the Upper Bracket, whereas the bottom two will be placed in the Lower Bracket.

Below you can find the draw in full:

Thanks mate. I hadn't looked at any of the teams in the draw until just now, thinking that all the big teams would be there cos it's the Copenhagen games. What a disappointment. No point watching this now. Any LANs worth watching in the next few weeks?

Well, I just get bored out of my mind seeing the lesser teams get smashed ALL THE TIME. Of course, in a perfect world, we would have dozens of equally good teams making it incredibly fun to watch because of its unpredictability, but we have to live with what we've got. For all our sakes, I really hope TSM win a major this year.

the prize pool is pretty low and there's a lot of games so a lot of teams skipped it.

"Virtus.pro should not have to work hard to top their group" i dont agree to that. i think besides group C and maybe A and D, group F is capable of surprises. if VP has a bad day, and the germans and the swedes a good one, vp could be 2nd or 3rd in their group...

never go full retard VP is tier 2 on a bad day and the 2nd best team in group F is tier 4 if they play the games of theire lives. If VP dont top the group 2-0,2-0 ill go call them virtus.throw for ever.
