Immunity qualify for FACEIT finals

Immunity have qualified for the FACEIT Global Finals after finishing at the top of the Oceanic Division.

Heading into the final match of the season, which pitted Immunity against Vox Eminor, the prospect of a three-way tie at the top between these two teams and The Chiefs was very real, but for that to happen Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill's side would have to come out on top of this encounter.

Vox Eminor's hopes, however, took a dent even before the start of the game as Luke "Havoc" Paton was getting DDoSed, which forced the team to field a second ringer, Andrew "IcemaN" Luong (the other one being Kyran "dizzyLife" Crombie, who is replacing Azad "topguN" Orami.

Yam's Immunity to attend FACEIT finals

Despite that setback, Vox Eminor still gave Immunity a run for their money, but in the end Yaman "yam" Ergenekon's side ran out 16-14 victors to earn the top spot in the division on a perfect 5-0 record.

Vox E getting some competition! They were always getting competition. Its just that Vox was invited to katowice qualifiers and Immunity was not. Immunity has beaten vox quite a few times before in Bo3 games as well, both online and on lan...most recently on lan last month. Even the Chiefs have beaten Vox the last 3 times they have played, both lan and online. Vox never had a monopoly over the results.

they had in 2012-2013, which where the background for their invite in Katowice 2014. The invite for the katowice qualifier 2015, was not givin' to Vox if I'm mistaken, I think they had to player a Oceanian qualifier?

I wouldn't even say this is a competition when they needed to have 2 ringers bcus they got ddos-ed and ofcourse topGuN left not long ago.

So what. Fnatic just got beaten by NiP last night does that make NiP the best Swedish team. VOX are still a better and more experienced team by far and I still think they are the best (16-14 with 2 ringers) even after losing topguN.

Swedish teams = Close games. property also almost beat NIP, and got thrashed by nv. Does that make property good ? Play styles are similar.

I wouldn't say it's the only reason Immunity qualified; technically Immunity are currently the 'best team' in Australia at the moment after beating Vox Eminor at our national LAN finals 3-2 over the past 5 national events. :P

And why should it be 2 from AU ? The slots are provided according to team performances. Last time it was 4 from EU and 2 from NA. AU teams have a long way to go before they earn slots.

NA already have more slots than they deserve...i mean even 5 EU slots are not enough for NA... Also BR has no faceit league of its own... These slots are given to regions who have faceit

Well if it was pure skill it should be more like 8 EU, 0 NA, 0 OCE, 0 BR. Or 6 EU, 1 BR, 1 NA, 0 OCE :b

Exactly. NA has been given 2 slots already...And AU 1...Bigger tournament maybe next time..when faceit expands into more regions.

If we could get all 5 best players on one team we might have a chance at top 10 globally. I mean i doubt any au teams will get in the top10 for a while at that. But it doesn't mean that the australian players are shit.

Its a league mate. All games are important. And this was the decider. If VOX would have won it,it would have been a 3-way tie between vox ,immunity and the chiefs.

I hope so. Having more overseas exposure with as many teams as we can would really help to close out the skill gap with Australia and the rest of the world. Maybe 2 AU, 5 EU and 2 NA next season hopefully.
