arya replaces hades in Luminosity

Warren "hades" Rettich was replaced by Arya "arya" Hekmat in Luminosity Gaming, the organization announced via Twitter.

Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich has been a part of Luminosity from the start, when the team was still donning Mythic's colors, and took part in the online phase of CEVO-P Season 6, as well as ESEA Invite Season 18.

Despite qualifying for both finals, the team has decided to say goodbye to the long-time member after a tough period inside the team, and brought in Arya "⁠arya⁠" Hekmat, who was last seen playing with Area51.

Luminosity bring in arya instead of hades

In a statement for ESEA News, the team's captain Alexander "⁠LeX⁠" Deily shed some light on the sudden move right before going into two finals in a row:

"Luminosity Gaming has decided to part ways with ^hades as our 5th and in-game leader. All politically correct answers aside, Warren is a friend and a good teammate. He's a hard working player and put the time in for a lot of the success we have seen this season. But with upcoming LANs and morale low, it was clear that we needed a change of leadership and to take our play in a more positive direction. The goal is to always be improving. Never stalling, always forward. We came to the conclusion that to continue improving and to build on previous success, the answer was in our in-game leadership.

On that note, we are proud to announce that our new 5th and in-game leader for the foreseeable future is Arya "arya" Hekmat. By providing us a fresh look strategically, we hope to be able to find a renewed hunger for success and once again be able to compete with the top teams in North America and prove that we can eventually compete in Europe."

As much as I loved Hades, I think they definitely needed a new IGL. Watching their strats on Mirage lately has been so cringe worth and predictable. Hopefully Arya can bring some fresh mixup of strats for the team!

This team feels so weird with their recent additions of Frozt and Arya. Both are solid players in their own right, but it just feels odd. That said Lex is still their weakest player but since he has been on this team since they were Reliable Gaming i'm not sure he will get cut(Probably holds the sponsorship).

Arya's stats are skewed since Area51 got shat on by other teams. If Arya had better teammates it is likely he would have better stats. But overall I agree that this was a dumb move, why fix what has been working for the past few months.

So salty. Arya is actually a perfect fit. If you heard any luminosity streams its the perfect fit, their personalities are like exactly alike. So much props to arya for making the switch, now Char needs a good team, hes got so much potential oozing out of him. summit needs to get a really clutch player to substitute for arya. All of this is old news if you never watch a51 streams, which how can you not, they are fucking hilarious.

3 weeks ago Arya had more hours in h1z1 than csgo. This pickup is hilarious. Arya hasn't cared about csgo for a longtime, he always does the minimal amount of work to retain his invite spot by swapping in players and scrapping together some wins. I think Arya is a cool guy and I enjoy watching him stream but the thought of him on a "top" NA team is kinda funny. Maybe he'll start taking the game seriously but if they think they are going to do anything at esea lan with 2 weeks to practice they are in for a rude awakening.
