AaroN, ZED join Infused

Team Infused have confirmed to HLTV.org that Aaron "AaroN" Hemmings and George "ZED" Bear have been added to the team.

Infused were the sole UK representative at the recent Gfinity Spring Masters, where 0-2 defeats against Virtus.pro and Team Orbit in the group stage spelled an early exit from the tournament.

Two weeks later, the team attended i54 with Aaron "⁠AaroN⁠" Hemmings, formerly of 4Kings and mTw, and former fm-eSports member George "⁠ZED⁠" Bear as stand-ins and placed fourth in the tournament following a 0-2 defeat against k1ck in the Lower Bracket final.

The British team have now confirmed that the duo have been brought in as permanent replacements for the two players that missed the event in Coventry, Konstantinos "⁠tsack⁠" Theodoropoulos and Decclan "⁠decclan⁠" Tobin.

"We are delighted to announce the return of ZED after a short time out of the game and AaroN, who recently came back to CS:GO after his time in mTw some time ago," Infused coach Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy told HLTV.org.

"Departing the team will be decclan & tsack, who we would like to wish all the best in the future!

"We as a five felt the chemistry and communication improve already at i54 with no practice going into the event and have decided to push forward into the Summer, with EPS UK coming up and also several LAN Events in Europe."

Infused now have the following starting line-up:

UK teams can only be good if RELEASE&RattleSNK came back to their old form and teamed up with hudzG,AaroNORzed,fearless. because this team is shit and people might think that they have any chance against the european team but from what i saw in INSOMNIA they dropped a map to TLR.

Maybe if there'd be a consistent UK team with the 5 best players in the UK, it might amount to something. I'm not saying a contestant for major tournaments, but at least a consistent tier 2 team, which could even upset some of the big boys. But as long as this constant line-up shuffling continues, the UK scene will - unfortunately - remain the joke it is now.

"We as a five felt the chemistry and communication improve already at i54 with no practice going into the event" No practice again, the fact UK players feel the need to mention this as if it's a good thing is one of the key reasons we keep getting fucking smashed at every LAN. Now they've added these two I hope they all put the time in. The alternative is they don't practice, 3 months later people leave, statement gets released from players saying "we didn't synergize well together, sure we didn't practice as much as we should but we still should have done much better".
