TSM send fnatic packing in London

Team SoloMid are through to the grand final of the FACEIT League 2015 Stage 1 Finals following a 2-0 victory over fnatic (16-13 on de_mirage and 16-11 on de_inferno).

The opening match of the final day of the FACEIT League 2015 Finals saw in-form fnatic, who had come off two 2-0 victories against Team Liquid and Ninjas in Pyjamas, take on Team SoloMid, who had survived a three-map game against Na`Vi to secure a spot in the last-four stage of the tournament.

A flying start from fnatic on de_mirage saw the Swedish team take the opening four rounds of the map. TSM then finally managed to break through fnatic's defense and a get a round of their own, but fnatic regained control of the proceedings and brought the scoreline to 7-1. But for the remainder of the half it was TSM who were in the driving seat as they cup the gap to just three rounds before switching to the CT side.

jw's 30+ frags on mirage not enough to stop TSM

fnatic then further enlarged their lead by taking the pistol round thanks to a triple kill from Jesper "JW" Wecksell and the subsequent round. TSM showed some superior play in gun rounds and overturned the deficit, forcing a timeout out of fnatic when the Swedish team were down 11-13.

The pep talk produced immediate effects as fnatic won the following round to reduce the deficit to just one round, but TSM held on to their lead and closed out the map 16-13.

The map that followed was de_inferno, on which fnatic are without a doubt one of the world's best teams. It was the Swedish team who claimed bragging rights first, but then they were stunned in the first anti-eco round, in which TSM came out with pistols blazing in middle.

Will TSM secure back-to-back international titles?

TSM went on to take a 3-1 lead, but fnatic regained control of the game and closed out the half up 10-5 as the Danish team struggled to find a way past their opponents' defensive setup. In the second half, TSM put in a marvellous display, dropping just one round to an Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer clutch to run out 16-11 victors and advance to the grand final.

GG TSM. I have been a long time fan of Fnatic, hating every other team more or less. But this is it for me. I'm now a Na'Vi/TSM/SK fan. You proved your worth.

I don't hate fnatic anymore, but I think some of them are unprofessional and so childish. Have you ever seen the vid of the denied Handshake from GTR?

I follow the scene since its very beginning, yes, I've seen this. It was indeed a lack of sportsmanship from some of the fnatic players. That's not a reason to hate them, the organization, or the current roster. You don't have to like them, but hating is as immature as the behavior they displayed.

Easy win - almost like a walkover, when TSM started T both maps. GJ boys! That dumb english Thorin guy should really give TSM some more credit which they deserve. He's annoying and a TSM hater.

Happy and Karrigan are the same type of players. Solid rifles, also decent awpers, and karrigan bring a lot stronger t side to TSM, than they had when they was under fetish. Xypex needs to wake up, to be good like he was 1 year ago, and they can be best team.

Congratz to them. A second final in a row, a good thing for their confidence that they confirmed their good form after their first title. Let's hope they can bring this level of play at a major.

Am I wrong or does this seem slightly unfair? Both NiP and TSM have already lost a Bo3 during this event. fnatic lose 1 game and they are straight out. Just seems odd. Shouldnt there be a lower bracket?
