coL return to 1.6

LA compLexity have admittedly been struggling in the CGS this season, leaving them at the bottom end of the North American league. However, today it has been announced that the team will be allowed to play in both 1.6 and CSS tournaments.

Here is a statement from the LA compLexity site:

"We can confirm the rumors about coL.cs playing 1.6. Over the remaining months of 2008, we have decided to allow the squad to participate in both 1.6 and CS:Source events. Our players love and respect 1.6, and want to play it as often as possible, but our professional careers dictate that we focus more on CS:Source. Thus, look forward to some good old fashion coL.cs 1.6 action, but please understand we are playing for fun and it'd be foolish to expect to see the coL.cs magic from 2004-2006."

The LA compLexity roster looks like this:

Danny "fRoD" Montaner
Corey "Hanes" Hanes
Ronald "Rambo" Kim
Tyler "Storm" Wood
Matt "Warden" Dickens

The team's first games back in 1.6 will be at the US WCG Qualifiers and they are likely participants for the upcoming CEVO season as well.

lol, coL will get beaten badly from top european 10 for sure. It will take months of intensive training to be at least able to compete them. If they plan to play both 1.6 and Source they dont have chance to win any single best european teams attended tournament. Its gonna be really 4fun only

read the article, the players miss good old 1.6 plus they haven't been too successful in CGS. Therefore they are given another opportunity to play 1.6

i dont think that they "suck", they played very well against X3O this morning, they lost only at 12 points... i bet if S0ck played in place of Warden, they would beat X3O and i think you know who is X3O :)
