Property have announced that they have parted ways with their CS:GO team.

The news comes with little surprise as the Swedish team have been unable to reverse the downward spiral on which they have been for several weeks now.

Rumours about the disbandment of the team had emerged on Saturday as Simon "⁠twist⁠" Eliasson, Mathias "⁠pauf⁠" Köhler and Erik "⁠zende⁠" Sundeqvist were seen playing for VingeN during the first open qualifier for DreamHack Summer. The team, who also featured Miran "⁠dumz⁠" Matković and Benjamin "⁠BENDJI⁠" Söderena, gave a great account of themselves and secured a place in the closed qualifier after beating the likes of undefined, TRiCKED and INSHOCK.

Property have now confirmed that they have cut all ties with the players, citing "the long line of poor results" as the reason for the move.

"Our recent form has been disappointing for everyone, both for our fans and ourselves," Mattias "pauf" Köhler said in a statement.

"We literally hit rock bottom and felt that something needed to happen. In long discussions with [Property manager] Viktor about different options we decided to split ways.

"We are still very grateful for everything Team Property have done for us, they stood behind us and believed in us even when we didn’t even do it ourselves.

"Thanks to all fans who have supported us, we will continue to play and hopefully come back stronger."

Meanwhile, Property stated that they will soon venture again into competitive Counter-Strike as they "remain commited to building a world class male team".

The following players are now free agents:

first of all burning isnt the best carry player(and im his fan to be honest) and it was like only 6 months ago? secondly,do you rly want to compare dota and csgo here? money? scene? contracts? etc? thirdly...like i said burning was inactive for like 6 months,how long is robban inactive? do you rly think that he will play on top level again(top level=tier 1 team in my eyes).if yes,please you should take down pink glasses.players like robban,zet,snajdan,cogu,zonic etc etc etc will never be tier1 players again

BurNing is definitely the best carry player along side Loda and Kuroky (altho he plays support now). Im comparing players and their retirements, he wasnt inactive he said he is retiring after International 4 and he joined iG for DAC i believe it was. And you dont have to be professional player only because you play in t1 teams, up til tier 3 is considered professional player since you are getting sponsored. And, please, dont try to teach me about eSports since i've been following it from early 2003. Dota cs and quake.

And, to say one more thing since i cant edit for some reason, KuroKy was the one that did 5x rampage on the enemy's fountain. They even killed the fountain (back in Dota, the fountain was destructible) in his days with Kingsurf. So, yeah, he's one of the best carry players even if he is on a support role currently.

There is no way SK will pick up this squad, they have failed through 2 different organisations in six months. They had the chance to pickup some talent *cough*Pyth*cough* when Orbit disbanded but passed on the opportunity. The only thing that can save them is a proper disband cuz this lineup just doesn't work. Who will Property pick up? My money is on Moddii's team. Or the youngsters of INFINTY.
