TSM win Fragbite Masters S4 Finals

TSM defeat fnatic in a best-of-five 3-1 (de_cbble 16-5, de_mirage 7-16, de_inferno 16-11, de_dust2 16-7) and take the main prize of 225,000 SEK (~$26,850).

Fragbite Masters Season 4 Finals' last series started on de_cbble, where the Swedes were clear favorites, but despite them getting the initial pistol, it was TSM who got off to the better start thanks to a full Tec-9 forcebuy on the second round.

A couple of ecos thrown in and stalling time from fnatic's side later, the score was sitting at 2-4, as Finn "karrigan" Andersen continued to abuse the Swedish defence on the B bombsite plateau on and on.

Only one round got through thanks to Robin "flusha" Rönnquist's smart positioning in a one-on-two out of the remaining nine until the end of the half due to amazing individual performances from the TSM side, especially from Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, Nicolai "device" Reedtz and karrigan in three of those rounds.

fnatic managed to delay TSM's inevitable win with a pistol round, but this time Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen stopped fnatic in their tracks right afterwards with a one-on-two on a second-round Five-SeveN buy.

Markus "pronax" Wallsten was forced to buy in all of the remaining rounds, but only the one at 11 match points got through TSM's solid defence, which provided a 16-5 victory against all odds.

Xyp9x seemed to have the upper hand in every duel on cbble

flusha's one-on-two clutch on the B bombsite secured fnatic a Counter-Terrorist pistol round, but this time they were able to hold off TSM's second-round forcebuy, as well as the following eco and a first gunround for 5-0.

Jesper "JW" Wecksell's one-on-one and a quick triple from window and jungle in the following two rounds pushed fnatic to a 9-0 lead, before TSM got on the board with a quick A bombsite takeover twice in a row. The two teams split the last four rounds for a 11-4 scoreline at halftime.

TSM picked up the second pistol round thanks to dupreeh and his three USP headshots while on low health points, and followed it up with a couple of successful antiecos for 11-7. From there on it was all she wrote for TSM as fnatic picked up five in a row to even the series at 1-1 at 16-7.

de_inferno was set to be the third map and TSM started off strong as Counter-Terrorists, picking up both the pistol and the first couple of gunrounds to get a six-round streak for nothing on the Swedish side.

fnatic finally picked one up just to get money-screwed right afterwards at 8-1, which is where the team called for a timeout. A talk seemed to have made the difference as pronax and company picked up five of the following six rounds for a decent 6-9 halftime score.

Everyone on TSM had solid individual performances throughout the series

Winning their own pistol round helped them even it out at nine all, only for TSM to get back on the horse with five in a row partially thanks to a couple of entry kills at the hands of dupreeh. Only Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer's flank from underpass held TSM back from winning map three with a decent forcebuy and an attack on the B bombsite for 16-11, 2-1.

A ten-man battle in the upper dark ended up with TSM getting the upper hand, only to lose to a couple of scouts in the hands of fnatic and starting off 1-4. Three rounds after, the score was equalized at 4-4 also thanks to a couple of crucial frags from device.

karrigan's one-on-three then pushed TSM's lead to 7-4, but then a lonesome olofmeister arrived on cat and killed the entire opposing team to get two rounds in a row on the board for fnatic.

TSM managed to get the last couple of rounds, as well as the CT pistol round and the first gunround, which was when there was little to no doubt the Danes would close the series soon after.

fnatic then split the B bombsite with no grenades in middle, catching TSM off-guard, but their long attempt was shut down afterwards and a couple of forcebuys didn't work out, as TSM emerged victorious at 16-7, 3-1 in the series.

tsm and fnatic are top 2, by far, theres a big gap in consistancy and success in 2015 between these 2 teams and the rest. closely after there should be a mix of envy/vp/nip followed by navi. gg them, they really deserve this new "phase", hard work pays off.

Stop fooling yourself. However, I agree that TSM is not top 1... yet. The top 5 at the moment is very random about who wins against who. One day fnatic beats TSM, the next TSM beats fnatic. We just had an example yesterday and today.

That ranking is a joke. A dumb algorithm that doesn't distinguish between a random online game and the grand final of a major. I agree that tsm is probably top 1, at least top 2, but that's based on their performance at big LANs, not some automatic ranking system.

The most interesting thing is TSM haven't reached their full potential yet... 3/4 out of 5 are still in school (so not playing full time like most of the other top6 teams players do). I expect them to be even better after this summer when they go all in full time on CSGO.

I think what he is trying say is if you play 4-5 hours and really put the efforts to improve teamplay etc, is better than 12 hours pugging with your friends (aka NA teams).

Seem like fnatic still struggle against TSM, just like in the past with Titan. Hope they can improve this at the next major. Anyway, gg to both teams, especially TSM.

Fnatic can only win, if TSM is not playing. NiP can only win, if Fnatic is not playing. TSM can only win, if they don't have any exams.
