Method, who are currently competing in the North American ESL ESEA Pro League and the CEVO Professional division, are looking for a coach to improve their gameplan.

Method, a UK-based organisation, entered the CS:GO arena when they signed the ex-Fenix Fire quintet early in May. The team had been impressing in its performance across a variety of online cups in North America, as well as putting in an appearance at ClutchCon.

As HLTV.org outlined in 2014, coaching in CS:GO is seen as the latest requirement for teams looking to compete at the highest level, and a wide variety of teams have added tactical coaches to their line-ups this year.

Method have made an impressive account of themself as a team in CEVO-P Season 7, with two wins and five ties, however the team have notably struggled in the ESL ESEA Pro League, with the threat of the team losing its spot to Premier-division competitors still up in the air.

As a result, the latest round of job opportunities at the organisation includes a position for a CS:GO coach, which will include "experience in playing or coaching CS:GO on a professional level" and the ability "to provide real time strategic input during matches both online and offline," among other things.

Method is based in Europe infact, they just happened to pick up an NA team noone cared about at that time for some reason.

Don't be too Eurocentric. Team SoloMid (TSM) is a US-based organization.

I hate that new meta with the coaches... before 10 years when i start to watch competitive cs there was no teams with coaches, managers and useless shits like this. Are the players THAT lazy to watch fucking demos or what...

Having a coach could actually be very beneficial to most teams... Take any sport. If all a team needs is for the players to watch game film, then why the heck is a coach needed? To help run practice, make strategies, analyze opponents, and basically handle most of those types of things so the players can spend more time focusing on what to do in certain situations individually and actually improving skill wise...

Why does NA think that coaches can solve their problem? They need a good reshuffle to get the best THREE lineups they can have.

A reshuffle honestly won't do much because the problem isn't necessarily the skill of the players, but the mentality. Yes NA players do lack some in the skill department, but the real problem is that many of the ones who want to improve aren't experienced so coaches can help, and many NA teams have issues with communication and the actual strategic issues of the game so a coach would help solve that problem too.
