melty replace BMG at ESWC

The ESWC organisers have announced that melty will replace Bad Monkey Gaming at the upcoming world finals.

BMG had been one of the first two female teams to receive invitations to compete at ESWC 2015, which would be the Intel Challenge Katowice champions' first event with the new lineup, featuring ex-ALTERNATE duo Melanie "⁠beyoNd*⁠" Gutsche and Lena "⁠shushu⁠" Babic.

However, ESWC has now announced that BMG have withdrawn from the tournament, with their replacement coming in the form of melty, who had finished second in the European online qualifier.

ESWC's female tournament will feature eight of the world's strongest teams, who will battle it out for their share of a $15,000 prize purse.

bmg couldnt cover travel expenses, shushu started streaming to beg for donations to go there but the goal bmg set wasnt reached

Because ESWC decided to make the finals outside of Europe and what we see here was totally expected. Female teams always have financial problems and organizing the main and most important event in Canada was the most stupid thing ever. Ofc those who could afford it will enjoy, but how is this helping the community? The question remains open.
