dennis signs for Kinguin

Team Kinguin have announced that Dennis "dennis" Edman has committed to a long-term contract with the organisation.

The Swedish player had been filling in for Kinguin as a substitute since the team parted ways with their in-game leader, Alexander "⁠SKYTTEN⁠" Carlsson.

With Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman as a stand-in, Kinguin were able to secure a spot at the upcoming offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, where four spots at the $250,000 major will be on offer.

Even after spending several months on the sidelines, dennis was able to impress during the tournament - which has prompted Kinguin to tie the player down.

"The release of 'SKYTTEN' was hard for me, because he was one of my best friends," said Mikail "Maikelele" Bill.

"We played together for almost three years so this decision was that much harder for all the sides involved. Today we present you our new member, 'dennis', who is and have been, one of the most savage players out there.

"We all know what he's capable of and we know that he will bring the experience and firepower we need to succeed as a team.

"I'm happy to see all the positive comments regarding our team and hopefully I will read a lot more of them in the future."

The 24-year-old talent rose to fame in early 2011 when he joined SK Gaming, stepping into the shoes of Jimmy "⁠allen⁠" Allen.

After switching to CS:GO, dennis had two brief spells in Absolute Legends, but he would only find success after joining LGB eSports, whom he helped to a sensational 3rd-4th place finish at EMS One Katowice 2014.

With the Swedish player's addition, Team Kinguin now have:

the cool thing about his stats is that he has a higher rating on LAN. Cant say i enjoy the way he's been playing lately though, he goes overagressive too much lately. Also, in terms of skill in Kinguin lineup i'd say he's 2nd or 3rd.

We don't know shit how much they get paid and tbh Maikelele said that he thinks that it's the best contract so it's probably 3k if not more which I don't care about. Would you rather enjoy what you do and get paid for it, + also attend tons of events and that lineup will most likely get to the major and easy sticker money once again, I see them getting in the top8 so again, STICKER MONEY. As i said, Gob B calling in english would not be as effective, and having one player who can't speak a word of German would hold the team back. Niko is under contract with Mouz but adding him to the roster would not improve it, only degrade it. Their best option is to just sell Niko to the highest bidder.

-Maikel is not going to happen because it's basically his team. The only reason the team is together is because Maikel and Scream wanted to make an international team. -Fox is possible since he was chosen later, after the Maikel/Scream/Rain core. +Niko would be the most logical option because Niko is a beast. They wouldn't have a Guardian level AWPer, but they would have multiple players that can AWP decently (Maikel/Niko/Dennis). When they won Gamers Paradise, they ran double AWP setups with Maikel and Niko. Fox didn't even pick it up.

With ScreaM being such a beast these days I think Kinguin can get into Cologne main event easily and can even land in Quarters. dennis and rain can confirm Kinguin's qualification with Maikelele always being a hit or miss and fox always being a miss. Great addition this is.

dude scream is motivated more then ever to prove everyone wrong and make this team something.. I think you should wait and see how he plays at the next big event before judging him on past teams where he wasn't allowed to play the stlye he wanted, but in this team he gets to do what he wants. So I think we will see the new scream dominate with this lineup. Dennis is a sick player, this will do wonders!
