x6tence e-sports Club have announced that they have shut down their CS:GO division.

The Spanish organisation made the announcement on their Twitter page, in which they stated that the move represented "the end of the most ambitious CS:GO project to date" in Spain.

The news comes just days after the team finished runners-up to Epsilon at Gamergy Final Cup 8, one of the most important events of the year in Spain.

x6tence had reached the grand final without breaking much of a sweat, but the title decider was simply a one-sided match as Epsilon dropped just eight rounds throughout the series.

The future of Kairi & co is now up in the air

HLTV.org understands that the team had long been plagued by internal problems, which the recent signing of Arturo "⁠sukitRon⁠" Gil could not solve.

More news about the future of x6tence's CS:GO section will be announced in the coming days. It is expected that at least one or two players from the team will remain tied to the organisation.

i don't think so, maybe some casual matchmaking. he retired even before competitive 1.6 ended if i remember correctly.

nope, he used to play CSGO during it's first year, but I guess he got tired of it and didn't like the game, when valve didnt update the game too much, I remember he was one of the streamers I watched at the beginning of csgo, playing the good oll mirage.

Expected and really sad to hear. With Lowel this team was going places, when Sukitron joined it took him a while to get back in track and when he did the rest (apart from Kairi) were underperforming. Good luck hope you'll rise up again :)
