Happy: "We're burned out"

With roster change blood in the water, we found a minute to pull aside EnVyUs' Vincent 'Happy' Cervoni and try and get a read from him on the state of the team.

With a very uncoordinated EnVyUs team going down to Cloud9 in the semifinals of ESWC 2015, the French team found themselves on the trail of a string of sub-par finishes for a team once considered the best in the world.

Although nV managed to reach the finals of SLTV XIII, win Gfinity Summer Masters I, and reach the semi-finals of the ESL ESEA Season 1 finals in Cologne in the past month, the sluggish play from a team once feared for their potential at all stages of the game led many to raise their eyebrows.

HLTV.org managed to get Vincent "⁠Happy⁠" Schopenhauer to speak about his team following today's loss, and while the player was reluctant to discuss any potential roster changes, the interview is indicative in and of itself of the current fracturing within the team.

Do you think EnVyUs would pay so much to take ScreaM out of Kinguin? Kinguin spent 40k USD to buy Rain from LGB, I really doubt they would like to lose one of their carriers to EnVyUs or anybody else. P.S. Oczo needs to grow up or, at least, to tweak his castrate-like voice, so that people won't vomit everytime they hear his "songs".

I do, and I wouldn't say that if it was not the case. I've met him a few times and we talked. Trust me or not, he's a really cool guy, a little shy and discreet at the beginning, but he's the opposite of a self-centered and cocky person.

Oh so "there's even a pic"? Its pretty natural that a team doesnt always stick together as 5. From what I remember though, shox is the only reason why Kio is on the team in the first place? So why are they splitting up now? We will wait and see, Im excited!

nV burned out complaining about having to travel to NA to attend an event.... wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh every NA team has to travel to the big events in europe like 4-5 times a year

well, from last month they went to Starladder, Gfinity, and then go to ESWC, FaceIT, CEVO and another GFinity definitely more events than any NA team could have attended in a year.

traveling around europe is nothing. u dont get any jet lag or anything, flights are like 2-3 hours max. dont cry dry your eye

uhh... no preparing for a flight every thursday, arrive at event on friday, competing and finishing the event before going back home, that takes them about 3-4 days a week. and then there are online matches. there's almost no time to practise at all. thats why you never see EU pros streaming so often as NA pros. and cmon, having only 1 flight in every 2-3 months means nothing, it doesn't fuck up your schedule at all.

Happy seems very relaxed and composed as usual. I'm sure NV will come out of this drought, way too much talent. Would like to see them change things up a bit in the coming weeks though.
