Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev has explained the comments made about his FlipSid3 Tactics teammates in the wake of the team's ESWC exit.

The Ukrainian talent made headlines earlier on Sunday when he revealed on social media that he would not play again for FlipSid3 Tactics with the current lineup following the team's 0-2 mauling at the hands of Natus Vincere in the ESWC semi-finals.

Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev was left infuriated by the team's performance during the series, especially by Andrey "⁠B1ad3⁠" Gorodenskiy's decisions during a 1vs1 situation in the CT pistol on de_inferno, at a time when FlipSid3 were trailing 1-14.

s1mple unhappy with his teammates' mistakes

In a new post on VK.com, s1mple has now explained that it is hard for him to stay calm and collected when mistakes are being made by experienced players.

"I just do not like the way some teammates play, they make many mistakes and I cannot react normally to that," he wrote.

"I am not saying that this player is better or this player is worse, I just do not know how you cannot get simple stuff done when you have been playing CS for so long.

"I would like to apologise to everyone who disliked [my comment]. I do not consider myself to be the best player in the world or in my team, I am just confident in myself and I try to be the best. But I am not the best right now.

"I made a mistake two years ago when I played with cheats, and that has really affected my career. I read all your hate towards me, and I accept it.Thanks to everyone who has cheered me on, that is nice.

"If some of you think my behaviour is terrible, remember that you do not know me in real life. Do not judge me by the words I say when I am angry."

s1mple refused to address his future in FlipSid3 Tactics, which is now very much subject to conjecture.

The team will fly to Germany later this month for the offline qualifier for ESL One Cologne, featuring 16 teams from all over Europe. s1mple will not be able to compete in this tournament due to his ongoing ESL ban, which expires in January.

Its funny how a person is banned for cheating, and even admitting it, is still allowed to play CS professionally, sure he can't play on ESL for the duration of the ban but that's it. But if the ban is a VAC ban, then you are banned for life, from everywhere. Even though you have done the same thing, but the cheat was detected with different software. Either ban all cheaters for life, or give all banned cheaters a timed sentence.

There is a difference between getting banned before and after the start of a professional or semi-professional career.

You shouldn't be able to start a career if you have been cheating IMO.

s1mple needs to be in a team environment where the captain / IGL and coach can put him in his place (i.e. become his e-parents) whilst also getting the best out of him. The current setup is obviously not working for him, he should just move on to another team.

what a dumb scrub, its a team game u retard - its nearly impossible that 5 people play 1 round without any small mistakes - if you make a perfect round - your mate will maybe do any mistakes. in other situations its upside down - go play Starcraft then you always know how made the faults

He may be right that his teammates suck but what are the options for him ? I see alot of shitty options for him, i do not see any CIS team that would be any major improvement over his current. Loving the drama though :)
