The group draw has been made for Assembly Summer's AMD CS:GO Challenge tournament, featuring a $10,000 prize pool.

Eight European CS:GO teams will travel to Helsinki for the Summer edition of Assembly, one of the oldest computer festivals in the Nordic region, taking place inside the Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre from July 30 to August 2.

A total of $10,000 will be up for grabs in the CS:GO tournament, called the AMD Challenge. Despite the relatively small prize pool, some quality sides will be in attendance, including a mix team called Jynttä featuring Ninjas in Pyjamas duo Aleksi "⁠allu⁠" Jalli and Christopher "⁠GeT_RiGhT⁠" Alesund.

Joining the previously six invited teams will be the finalists of an online qualifier, UNLEASHED and KappaKappa (previously known as Wrecking Gaming), which raises the number of foreign teams in Helsinki to four.

Dude? You wont ever see joelz at lan. I used to play with him in this one tryout team in 1.6 for some time. The guy is so shy that he barely never even was able to talk in ventrilo/teamspeak. If he did say something his voice was really awkward and it sounded like he was really nervous and shaky.

Meh, might get one day pass for finals, but..meh. Hopefully next summer they step up with cs:go tournament. This needs to happen in much bigger scale! :)

Very unlikely to happen - the summer event is mainly focused to demoscene. Assembly Winter, however, has taken a large step towards pro gaming, last time they had NiP, Titan, HR, mousesports, VP, 3DMAX etc.
