SteelSeries acquires Ideazon

SteelSeries today announces the acquistion of certain assets in Ideazon Inc.

One of the leading manufacturers for professional gaming gear, SteelSeries, has acquired assets in Ideazon Inc, the North American-based developer and manufacturer of gaming peripherals and technologies. "Gaming Accessories Industry Just Got Better" is the slogan SteelSeries used when announcing the move, indicating they clearly believe an improvement in gaming gear lies ahead of us.

Bruce Hawver, CEO of SteelSeries had the following to say:

SteelSeries has brought together two rapidly growing companies in the gaming space, making SteelSeries one of the fastest-growing gaming peripherals manufacturers globally.

He continued by suggesting that SteelSeries works hard with both the gamers and the developers and this move will help to achieve the very best in future technology.

SteelSeries support numerous gaming events world-wide and Jacob Wolff-Petersen, Founder of SteelSeries following point seems true:

This acquisition will further establish SteelSeries as a leading global gaming peripherals manufacturer.

I personally never admired SS products. I find them not good enough (it terms of quality). When I buy a mice - Razer, mousepad - Icemat, joystick - Logitech, earphones - Sennheiser.
