NiP withdraw from Gaming Paradise

Ninjas in Pyjamas have announced that they have decided against attending the Gaming Paradise.

The Swedish giants had been one of the first teams to receive an invitation to compete at the Gaming Paradise, a week-long videogame festival that will be held in the Slovenian coastal settlement of Portorož from September 6-13.

No explanation for the decision was given by NiP, but it is possible that the move was caused by a conflicting schedule between the Gaming Paradise and the recently-announced ESL ESEA Dubai Invitational, which kicks off on September 10, just 24 hours after the Slovenian tournament has ended.

NiP pull out from Gaming Paradise

If this is the case, then Virtus.pro and Natus Vincere may also decide to skip the Gaming Paradise as both teams will travel to Dubai for this $250,000 tournament.

There are now three spots available in this $50,000 CS:GO tournament, which will be filled through invites handed out by Gaming.rs - the organisers of the competition.

This means that the list of participants for the Gaming Paradise currently looks as follows:

Denmark Team SoloMid Bulgaria E-frag
Europe Team Kinguin Poland Virtus.pro
Null element Na`Vi

To purchase tickets for Gaming Paradise, simply heady over to the event's official website.

They're attending Cologne and after that they will take a short break and then start preparing for the ESL thing in Dubai. They don't have time for low tournaments like this. I'm sure Navi and/or VP will do the same. TSM will stay cos they're not going to dubai :D

Yeah they are. Esl released a statement saying its going to be 8 teams invited instead of 6, with cloud9/clg possibly attending along with TSM

Guys lets be real... They are saving strats for the major after Cologne. I expect them to pull out of Dubai as well - its a LAN that doesn't bring NiP the prestige they deserve. Kappa For real though these guys have pulled out of so many events, how were they higher than TSM on ESLs list? Id be surprised if they kept the same lineup and weren't doing this to extend a bootcamp for the new players.

Things have been going horribly wrong with NiP lately, so what do they do? They take a breather, discuss the problems within the team, come up with some solutions to said problems, and come back stronger than ever. That's what they are doing, and what you should do in a situation like this. A break's all they need, and it's good they realized it as well. Mark my words, in a month or so, NiP is going to perform better than they have in a while. Without any roster changes, I might add.
