Changes to Evil Geniuses

Fadil "Nepo" Canovic replaces Scott "evolution" Cavallero in the Team EG line-up.

One of Evil Geniuses' top players, Cavallero, will be going inactive in a somewhat surprising move as Canovic replaces him.

Division leader, Nazar "Steno" Vynnytsky explained the choice to sign Canovic saying:

Nepo is on another level when it comes to learning fast, and has an incredible amount of skill and teamwork. He has an extremely similar style of play to our team, and brings a lot more to the table than an average player would

Canovic has expierence from teams such as makeSHIFT, iPlay.zoi, and most recently PoV. This move does not seem to be an ideal replacment as Cavallero had a lot of expierence and has been part of the TeamEG roster from their WCG 2007 fourth place finish.

The new Team EG line-up now looks like this:

Michael "chE" Guevara
Ryan "NineSpot" Bell
Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert
Fadil "Nepo" Canovic

maybe he didnt play aswell at GameGune, but he did a very good job at WCG... everybody has good times and bad times, but you cant underestimate his value... :)

Maybe... but from all those matches i've seen with him, losing to random North American CEVO and random teams in international events, i really don't see what made him so popular other than that boring video with shitty music really. Just my oppinion.

there are lots of good teams in USA, maybe you didnt know their enemies value :D btw, CEVO is played online, its much easier that way for EG to loose :)

When i say random i mean random, and don't use the online excue to me, it's not that he's lagging so he can't hit (lol), it's because he makes the wrong descision... alot... His aiming is.. good, but not at same level as _many other_

Eh no, shows the unstability in US teams, in my oppinion CS is completely dead there. You see EG suck at a international event, you really think those who beat them could do better? Hell no. Your very ignorant so i wouldn't go in too much details, but as said it is _MY_ oppinon based on facts.

It is my oppinion, of course it's not dead, it's an expression for that !CS 1.6! in US is worse than many other countries around the globe.

It's not about the level of skill there, they all end up winning and losing to random teams, it's about that they can't do anything in international events etc.

Do you think that Nazar is american name? It's Ukrainian one. What is USA? It's a country, which gathers a numerous of different nationalities. The native americans are indians, but there are not more that 1000 pure-blooded indians in USA now. So you can't tell who is who there.

EG is the most hyped team and have the most hyped player. And got just a few good results; that's not enough to be entitled to. :S I can't believe that a frag movie can make so much influence to ppls, but it's ok. GL, anyway.
