FolloweSports.com sign SKDC*

SKDC have been a team in the North American scene that have fluctuated on the fringes of the Invite (now Pro League) level. The organisation, with actual ties to a nightclub in Kelowna, Canada, is informally known to some as a sort of "feeder" team for North American Counter-Strike, bringing lesser known talents to the higher levels.

The team recently lost talent Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip, who has been receiving accolades on the 10-man scene, and the player has been spotted on a potential eLevate roster on ESEA.

The team reformatted and brought in Warren "⁠hades⁠" Rettich, a player that HLTV.org last saw leaving the Tempo Storm organisation back in June.

With placings in ESEA Premier and the CEVO Professional division, SKDC's performances caught the attention of FolloweSports.com, a Rochester, NY based organisation seeking to be the 'TV Guide of eSports' (in the organisation's own words).

The roster for FolloweSports.com will appears as follows:

Cory "⁠APE⁠" Bate

Marty Strenczewilk, the co-founder of FolloweSports.com released a statement on signing SKDC:

"With the incredible growth of Counterstrike eSports over the last year it was a no brainer for us to kick off our move into team ownership with CSGO. The Canadian team SKDC has been a mainstay in the scene for quite awhile and with the addition of a key new member who previously played with Tempo Storm, our team is looking awesome."

The signing also marks the return of wabbit to high-level play, since the player was last dismissed from SKDC in December 2014.

The futures of Canadian Mitch "⁠glorinsz⁠" MacInnis and American Jason "⁠focs⁠" Mauery, who were also last seen playing for SKDC, remain unclear.

*Update: The final player on the lineup will be APE, making this an all-Canadian roster.
