TSM, Titan invited to ESL Dubai event

Earlier in the month, ESL announced the first details about an invitational event to be held in Dubai from September 10-12 as part of GAMES 15, with five European teams plus Cloud9 duking it out for the bulk of the $250,000 prize pool.

The participants were selected based on a world ranking created by ESL itself that came under a lot of criticism from the community and from some teams, one of them Team SoloMid, whose players claimed that the results achieved under dignitas were not taken under consideration while other teams had points transferred between organisations.

At the time, ESL Pro Gaming vice-president Ulrich Schulze admitted the possibility of expanding the event to eight teams. The German company has now confirmed the news, with the last two spots being filled by TSM and Titan.

Both teams were in action last week at ESL One Cologne, with TSM finishing 3rd-4th, while Titan had to settle for a place in the bottom eight. 

The final list of participants for the ESL ESEA Pro League Invitational looks as follows:
