DAVEY signs to Method
The worst kept secret in North America is finally made official as Method have announced the signing of David 'DAVEY' Stafford.
Method struggled to procure good results in the current season of the ESL ESEA Pro League and will be facing a relegation match in the future which determines whether they get to remain in the league or not.
The team quietly phased out teammate Zachary "Eley" Stauffer a few weeks ago and began to play with 3sUP's David "DAVEY" Stafford, presumably as a stand-in until it became apparent the player was a permanent fifth after attending the offline RGN Pro Series with the team.

DAVEY officially confirmed as Method's fifth
DAVEY confirmed as much in our interview with him at the RGN Pro Series and the organisation has now officially announced his acquisition. The Canadian player will act as the team's interim IGL for the rest of the year while the team seeks a more permanent solution for in-game leading in the future.
Method player Samuel "SileNt" Portillo offered up his rationale for the roster change:
"I'd like to take the time to clarify some of the recent line up changes our team has undergone in the past couple weeks. Many questions were posed about which five we would use to play out the season. After careful deliberation, we are happy to announce that our line up will consist of: Myself, Just9n, Toy, Davey, and streb0r.
One of the most difficult decisions we've made is replacing our IGL Eley-fs-. It has been particularly tough for me personally as I've known the guy since I was a random pleb in 1.6. He gave me the chance to be part of this team that is now playing pro. Unfortunately, it's no secret that our team has fought to even stay in the PRO league (last season going 6-16 with more recent season results of the lineup being 3-11).
Headed towards the bottom of the leaderboards again, it became clear that we weren't adapting and a more serious change was needed. We acknowledge that many our issues stem from our inexperience as individuals. However, one area we were unable to compromise on pertained to differences of opinion when it came to in-game leading. We are very grateful for everything Eley-fs- has contributed to the team but at this time we would like to see what another IGL can bring to the table.
In light of this change, Davey will take over the IGL role for the rest of the season. However, we are still actively looking for a more permanent IGL. Although, Connor (streboR) recently announced that he was stepping down from competitive CS to focus more on his school work and career, he has agreed to come back and help us finish off the season.
Moving forward, we have been finishing this season off with what we have. It's been a tough few matches we have played recently not having a IGL mentality with us. Once the season ends, and all our ESEA/ESL matches are over with we plan on picking up a IGL."
Method's lineup is now:
Samuel "SileNt" Portillo
Justin "just9n" Ortiz
Connor "streboR" Roberts
David "DAVEY" Stafford
David "Toy" Han
The team also quietly announced that they parted ways with Jared "Oso" Hartman as their coach. Method says they will be holding try-outs for a new IGL after the current seasons of play in North America conclude.
