Conquest release ryx

Ronnie "ryx" Bylicki has been cut from Conquest's starting roster, the player has told HLTV.org.

Last month, Conquest ventured into the Counter-Strike scene with the signing of the team known as Sponsorless, featuring two former members of Tempo Storm and three ex-players of eLevate.

Results in the ESL ESEA Pro League have so far been mixed, with Conquest currently sitting seventh on a 5-5 record, but the team acquitted themselves really well in the online portion of CEVO Professional, finishing fourth to secure a place at the season finals, scheduled for November 6-8.

ryx says his release "was more of a blessing"

Conquest will have to attend the event in Columbus with a slighly different lineup, however, as Ronnie "⁠ryx⁠" Bylicki has been given his marching orders. Surprisingly, the former Tempo Storm member expressed his relief at the decision, revealing that the squad has been plagued by internal issues from the start.

"I Would like to start off and thank the Owner/Management over at Conquest for treating me well during my time on the team, nothing but good things to come from them in the future," he told HLTV.org.

"As for being cut goes, I was mutinied from both my ESL ESEA pro league and CEVO Pro spot's then I was informed over a text message from Shahzam that the team no longer wanted me.

"This was more of a blessing due to this being the most mentally unstable group of players that I've played with. No one saw eye to eye on anything and EVERYTHING turned into an argument.

"The thing that upsets me the most is that I worked my way up the ladder from the lower leagues to the pro league, which took 6 seasons and it was all just taken away from me."

Damian "⁠daps⁠" Steele has reacted to the news on Twitter, confirming the "bad mental state" that the team are currently going through.

Conquest, who will also take part in the SL i-League StarSeries league, have not yet commented on the matter. Peter "⁠stanislaw⁠" Jarguz, who is currently assessing his options following the disbandment of Team Coast's roster, joined Conquest's ESEA roster on Sunday evening.

With ryx's departure, Conquest currently have:
