G2 replace HellRaisers at CEVO Finals

G2 have replaced HellRaisers, who decided against attending due to medical reasons, at the upcoming CEVO Season 8 Finals on November 6-8.

Yesterday HellRaisers announced that they wouldn't be able to attend CEVO Season 8 Finals due to one of the players' medical issues, and they decided against attending with a stand-in.

CEVO were thus tasked to find a replacement, who they have confirmed in less than 24 hours, as G2 accepted the invite from the organizers.

rain's side will attend the next two LAN tournaments

They have naturally been first in line because of their head-to-head loss to HellRaisers when deciding who qualified, since they had a round less than the Ukrainian-Slovakian-Czech mixture.

With the replacement found, the final participants' list is following:

The $150,000 tournament at CEVO Season 8 Finals is taking place from November 6-8, which is a week after the DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca major.

s1mple is not toxic,yes true he rageing on MM if he play and ppl kill him,but is normal if you playing against good skill players on global and you play with your stream followers or random players,but hes not toxic as well,he was maybe before since in flipsid3 he was on other skill level then all those guys together,hes much better then guys he used to play with,my opinion and i was friend with s1mple we used to play also,never was toxic at me or teammates.

wish they'd qualified for real but it's always nice to see these guys on LAN.

they did actally, they just had like a few round/loss difference worse than HR and had won much more overall but same points due to ties.

But the way hellraisers got the spot was Stupid, to count round diffrent in a tie with 2 diffrent Maps realy make no sense. Also when its only by 1 round when the overall round diffrens was like +50 for g2

no matter how stupid the system is, thats not the point. cevo counted that hellraisers qualified, not g2. not bashing on g2 though, after all they will get to attend the finals.

Three qualified from EU & NA. VP and NaVi qualified for making top 2 at the last event. It only makes sense to invite the next team in the standings in EU.
