MAX5 Invitational group draw

The draw for the group stage of MAX5 Invitational has been made, with the participating teams having been placed into two groups.

From January 6-10, Mega Arena X5, in São Paulo, will stage what will certainly be the most exciting offline event in South American CS:GO to date, as nine of the finest Brazilian teams plus Argentine side ARG will lock horns for their part of a prize purse that has not yet been revealed.

The tournament sees the 10 competing teams split into two groups of five teams, who will face each other in a best-of-one round robin stage. The top two sides from each group will then progress to the best-of-three semi-finals, with the title decider being played in a best-of-five format.

Luminosity to face g3x and INTZ in the group stage

The draw has paired Luminosity Gaming with the new g3x roster and Raphael "⁠cogu⁠" Camargo's INTZ, while Games Academy will have to take on the likes of AlienTech and ARG for a spot in the last-four stage.

I've got your point. It's not about the events infrastructure...It's about teams levels. We now have 2 teams coming from America (Luminosity and Games Academy) and finally in 2015 the teams became truly professionals. Of course in 2013 and 2014 they were already preparing themselves but a lot of people was complaining about matches in a low level comparing to EU or NA. A team from Argentina is another different situation. NTN played very well against g3x, it was a very exciting match... Let's see what gonna happen in the most high level CS:GO tournament in BR.

They won against mixed new teams of our players that weren't even trying, they didn't even won against the full roster of our team. Also they never won against a good BR team, nTn did it 2-1 against g3x, also rEAK got rekt 2-0 in TWC qualifiers by us. Pvore finished 4th in the GA LAN (GDM and TRS also competed) and now nTn/ARG will represent us in the biggest SA LAN.. rEAK on LAN?
