CIS Minor group draw

The group draw for the CIS Minor Championship has been made, with the eight participating teams having been placed into two groups.

This weekend, Starladder will host at the Victoria Olimp Hotel, in Minsk, the CIS Minor Championship, where $50,000 and a spot at the offline qualifier for the MLG Columbus major will be up for grabs.

Eight teams, three invited and five coming from online qualifiers, have been drawn into two double-elimination groups, with the winners matches and the decider matches being played in a best-of-three format.

Gambit will face eXplosive in the first round

The top two teams from each group will then advance to the single-elimination playoffs, featuring a best-of-three format all the way.

Mihail "⁠Dosia⁠" Stolyarov's Gambit Gaming head into the Minor as strong favourites, with Method, formerly known as PiTER, Arcade and Rebels also predicted to make it to latter stages of the tournament.
