Team BEASTS is formed
A new UK squad has been created under the name Team BEASTS, consisting of some of the most experienced players in the region.
Former by returning players who had been out of action for a while, Team BEASTS will be hoping to claim the title of the strongest side in the United Kingdom - which has been up for grabs since the disbandment of EZSkins' lineup, in December.
At the core of the team are four players known for their time with fm-eSports: Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay, Somprasert "som" Haddow, George "ZED" Bear and Phil "Whindanski" Nicholas. The last two were part of the Infused lineup which finished runners-up to EZSkins at the recent Gfinity UK Championship.

Completing the roster will be Josh "mole" Rowley, who returns to activity after a brief spell on the sidelines. His last team was EZSkins, who replaced him with George "hudzG" Hoskins in November.
BEASTS, who are coached by Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy, will be hoping to make their mark on the European scene. They currently have a 1-0 record in CEVO Main after easing past Team Granted in their opening match in the league.
"After taking a substantial break I feel refreshed and motivated again to play properly for the first time since probably the start of CS:GO, when UK teams in general had some promising teams and results," Finlay told HLTV.org.
"Unfortunately UK CS has become a bit of a laughing stock but we definitely have the individual skill to compete. The problem are the egoes and quite frankly the absurd sense of entitlement that the older generation of UK CS players has. This is something I want to erradicate, and I will be working hard to properly practise and prepare from the ground up.
"I have linked up with players who I have had success with before in Whindanski, ZED and som, we will also be bringing in mole, who last played with EZSkins at DH Open.
"We will be competing in CEVO Main, UK EPS and quite frankly any EU tournaments that pop up. Hopefully people can start to support UK CS again and with teams like fm-eSports showing some promising results already we can help revitalise it in 2016 with a fresh outlook and the realisation that we need to start from the bottom and work our way up."
The British team are open to approaches from any organisation and can be reached by e-mail at [email protected], with their lineup looking as follows:
George "ZED" Bear
Phil "Whindanski" Nicholas
Somprasert "som" Haddow
Neil "nEiLZiNHo" Finlay
Josh "mole" Rowley
Neil "NeiL_M" Murphy (coach)
