EvilZone disbands

One of Sweden's more renowned organisations announces the departure of its CS1.6 team.

EvilZone have been a part of the Swedish Counter-Strike 1.6 scene for some time and have proved to be worthy opponents. However, with competition such as fnatic, SK Gaming & Blank it is not easy to establish oneself as the top team, which they proved when they went crashing out of the Swedish WCG qualifier a few weeks ago but went on to win the Dreamhack Skellefteå trophy one day later.

After what seems to be disagreement between the players and the management, it has been announced that the EvilZone CS1.6 team will be parting ways with the organisation. The players however remain united under a new tag, lanklan, and are on the lookout for a new organisation to represent.

The news comes with less than a week to go before the Extreme Masters III Main Round tournament where the former EvilZone face local rivals fnatic.

The temporary lanklan's roster:

would be great if fisker and snajdan would replace robban and allen, and we would see an old line`up of SK with oldschool players like zet, fisker, Snajdan, walle, Tentpole :D that would be really really great :D

i think Evilzone lost a good oportunity in consolidate as one of biggest e-sports organization in the world. this team is very good and unlikely they`ll contract a better team than this.

Typical, they do well at ONE lan and they make all kind of demands from the organisation. And when the organisation cannot give them all their demands they leave.

well its best for lanklan guys in my opinion .. plus i see realy big chance that they will be new roccat team , if not then roccat guys are stupid ;)

lol i think roccat is no more interest. its only an gaming factory(not a gaming organisation). they publish the name with a pro gaming team(to be famous) an that was it. its enough competion for the name roccat.
