GODSENT send G2 packing

GODSENT eliminated G2 after beating them 16-8 on Train as day two produced another upset in Malmö.

The second match of day two at DreamHack Masters Malmö saw G2 going up against GODSENT on Train. GODSENT lost to Natus Vincere 11-16 in their first match, while G2 got demolished by CLG with a 16-2 score.

G2 started on the T-side and won the pistol round but couldn't pick up the first anti-eco. The Frenchmen won a force-buy of their own to get their second round and followed it up with two more (4-1). The Swedes made it 2-4 with Simon "⁠twist⁠" Eliasson's quad-kill but the economic resets continued as G2 secured another round (5-2).

pronax keeps on delivering

twist was in a 1v2 although his team gained a 5v2 advantage in the round and the Swede came up ahead to make it 3-6. GODSENT got four more rounds in the rest of the half and G2 led 8-7 at halftime.

twist's double opening-kill paved the way for his team to win the pistol round and they secured the anti-eco rounds without losing too many players. He got another opening kill on the first weapon round and GODSENT caught momentum to get the first six rounds of the second half (13-8).

Richard "⁠shox⁠" Papillon couldn't come on top of a 1v2 and the Swedes extended their lead to 14-8. Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten's 1v1 victory against Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy gave GODSENT seven match points and they won it 16-8.

GODSENT should pick rain and maybe jkaem to be able to do some really good damage vs tier1 teams. FaZe are fcked up anyway... I'm glad those fgts lost, kicking an IGL just to take control of the team (I'm obviously talking about shox), and keeping an obviously bad sniper - well deserved fail, the French scene is such a joke, can't create even one tier1 team... RpK to nV instead of DEVIL pls! P.S. I placed my AK Emerald Pinstripe on GODSENT, now I'm so rich :-P

The difference is : fifflaren was the worst on the best team, he retired only after eswc group stage exit, and won a major before 1 or 2 month before that. So he was hated because NiP was becoming worst and worst. And he was not the real problem, i mean look at NiP now, battleing in tier 2 land. So for Smithzzzzzzzzzzz (even if it's the shitiest shit ever i'm totally agree with thooorin carried player) it's the worst of THE loosing team. So why hate a bad player on a bad team ?
