OpTic decimate Selfless, top Group B

OpTic have decimated Selfless in Group B's winners' match at the MLG Americas Minor to earn a spot in the playoffs with the first seed.

After OpTic and Selfless picked up very convincing victories over WinOut and Winterfox respectively, the two met in the winners' match of group B for one of the spots in the playoffs.

When Selfless interestingly chose to start as Terrorists on Train, OpTic delivered a successful retake on the B bombsite in the pistol round, getting a 2-0 lead with their opponents getting two bomb plants.

stanislaw's OpTic move on to playoffs from first place

However, that didn't seem to help them at all, Selfless kept losing convincing rounds time and time again as OpTic dismantled the attacks piece by piece.

The first chance offered itself in the seventh round, which was an eco, but the final 1v1 was won by the favorites, who kept on denying all attempts of their opposition.

In the end, Selfless could only concoct a single round throughout the first half mainly thanks to their first entry in the entire match, and OpTic had no issues taking the victory at 16-1 after out-rotating Selfless in the pistol round.

Nice to see a Canadian team potentially at a major! Hoping TSM can work some magic too.

No, I clearly said a Canadian team. Majority nationality decides the displayed "country flag" of a team. What you listed are the individual nationalities of all the players. The team is not a "spanish team" or an "American team", the most appropriate nation to represent is Canada, as 3/5 players are from that country. PLUS, mixwell is living in Canada too. Is G2 not a French team because ScreaM is Belgian but 4 others are from France? Is Cloud9 not an "American team" because shroud is Canadian but 4 others are from the USA? Is mousesports a "Bosnian" or "Dutch" team because NiKo is bosnian and Chris is from the Netherlands? No, it's german, because their coach, the ORG and 3/5 players are from Germany. Even though "NiKo" is the face of the team, the team itself is german. Learn the definition of TEAM and PLAYERS please.

I agree with everything...except the mouz point because NiKo is the entire team so it should be bosnian ;)

I'm guessing Stanislaw is a Polish Canadian. Any reason he uses that nickname? Is that his middle name? His first name is Polish too (Piotr) and last name too, Jarguz. Anyone can confirm he speaks polish? -Pasha +stanislaw
