Orbit and team part ways

The Bulgarian players and the Orbit organisation have officially parted ways, HLTV.org has learned.

Orbit, who fielded various lineups from all across Europe in the past, officially signed the Bulgarian MK team early in May following those players parting ways with their longtime sponsor E-frag.net.

The Orbit team had a rather quiet time since then, and they most notably finished third at the latest EU Minor at DreamHack Tours (playing with Nikolay "⁠pNshr⁠" Paunin in lieu of Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev) and thus came one spot short of qualifying for the ESL One Cologne 2016 Main Qualifier in Katowice.

v1c7oR & co. will again play under the MK name until they find a new home

HLTV.org has been informed that the team have now parted ways with the Orbit organisation as the organisation will not focus as heavily on CSGO in the future; the team are thus looking for a new sponsor.

A statement from captain Nikolay "⁠nkl⁠" Krastev, translated into English, reads:

"We wanted to thank Orbit for supporting us in the short time they did. But after further consideration our goals did not seem to align, they did not think that CSGO would be the game for them moving forward. We as a team want to thank them and wish them luck. With that said we are looking for a new home to represent. We look forward to the future and finding an organization that has the same aspirations as we do, somewhere we can grow together!"

Orbit's lineup was:

Viktor "⁠v1c7oR⁠" Dyankov
Nikolay "⁠nkl⁠" Krastev
Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev
Kamen "⁠bubble⁠" Kostadinov

So here you showed us how everyone is telling Orbit, E-frag, MK or w/e you want onliners and hackers. They participated in a major and were 3rd finished above Envyus nevermind that they were in bad form. They got 3rd place 2 years in a row on APM and finished 3rd on Starladder 11 i think beating Na'Vi in the groups and Envyus in the upper bracket or the other way around. Won 2 times UCC and participated on many other LANs. Before telling them onliners or smth you should probably know their achievements.} Have a nice day.

Onliners? Hackers? Never said that. Just saying that even though they can be a decent low t2 team, they are not good enough to get to a major. Not sure what kind of majors are you talking about, but I meant legit Valve-sponsored majors, e.g recent Cologne '16, and they have never been to one. They've been to major qualifiers, but have never qualified.

Kinda got confused as both the org and the team change orgs/players so frequently

stuck with gplay and e-frag for quite some time though.

yeah I'm just not used to teams changing orgs so much like NIP Fnatic Vp NaVi change a player or 2 but never the org, Edit: They stayed with Gplay for 10 months and with E-frag for 9; but getting droped after 2 months is kinda of a suprise

I'm sorry guys but as long as you keep sticking with dream3r who is VAC banned you will never get anywhere significant. Drop him and rebuild the squad with a permanent 5th player. Only then can you grow. I doubt that you'll find a serious org who is in for a long term commitment and paying 6 of yours players salary cuz you have to use a 6th player for all Valve related tournament you try to participate in. Like it or not but playing in a minor is a big thing for a team of your stature. And they are probably the best tournament any T3 team can win. You are not making it any easier on you having to field a substitute player every time.

Yes and this is exactly the problem for these guys. The guy is vac banned and there is no changing that. Instead of moving on, starting fresh with a new beginning they clinch on to the past and refuse to let it go. The video is a nice sob story. Problem for dream3r is that no one of importance give af. Sure his fans care about it and they take it as god given truth. However the people that can do something about it (valve) don't. As late as a month ago they commented on this case publicly on reddit. Saying simply that dream3r is still vac banned and he can't participate in valve sponsored events.
