AlienTech have won DreamHack Valencia's Counter-Strike tournament after beating beGenius 2-0 in the grand final (16-10 on Nuke and 16-11 on Dust2).

A total of eight teams, hailing from Spain, Portugal and France, faced off at the DreamHack stop in Valencia, which paid out just €8,000 as the tournament was not part of the ZOWIE Open Series.

The event began with beGenius securing a spot in the main tournament after winning the BYOC qualifier over exotic. The French team, featuring veterans like Jérôme "⁠HeUkA⁠" Bassat and Rémi "⁠instanz⁠" Poilblanc, followed that up with two more victories as they edged past the new k1ck lineup and Spanish mix team Wololos to reach the grand final.

From the other half of the bracket came AlienTech, who defeated Genus and gBots without giving up a single map in the process. Powered by Filipe "⁠Pizituh⁠" Pires and Vitor "⁠ScRm⁠" Vale, the Portuguese side took a clean sweep by winning on Nuke and Dust2, taking home €4,000.

last year there wasn't officially a DreamHack Valencia... since they hosted FACEIT League finals, they mixed both events so there wasn't a Dreamhack Valencia solo event if I am not wrong. However on 2014 it was quite stacked (at least when comparing to this one)
