ENCE, MK qualify for ESEA GC LAN

The playoffs of Season 22 of ESEA Premier in Europe diverged from the Season 21 format in that instead of the top four teams competing at an offline event, each region would see a respective online bracket occur as teams competed for a space at the $50,000 ESEA Global Challenge LAN, taking place at ESL's studio in Katowice, Poland from August 27-28.

With Europe being granted two spots to the tournament, the bracket saw the general favourites advance uninhibited and it was Finnish fan favourite team ENCE who secured the first spot to the ESEA S22 Global Challenge Finals after defeating the dark horse Swedish Kalashnikov 47 lineup 2-0.

The second semifinal was between German team ALTERNATE aTTaX and Bulgarian MK and it was a Simeon "⁠dream3r⁠" Ganev-led effort (who notoriously is prohibited from competing in Valve events) that saw the Bulgarians advance 2-1 to the Global Challenge Finals.
