DH Bucharest qualifiers announced

DreamHack have revealed European qualifiers for DreamHack ZOWIE Open Bucharest.

The qualifiers will consist of two stages as usual, starting with the open stage where anyone can sign up. The 512-slot open qualifier will be played on August 20th in a best-of-one, single-elimination bracket. 

Top eight teams will then advance to the closed stage, where eight more teams are waiting, as they received an invite.


Gambit will attempt to qualify for DreamHack Open Bucharest 

The closed qualifier will be played on the following day, August 21st, in a best-of-three, single-elimination bracket. Teams who will reach the final will qualify for the $100,000 DreamHack ZOWIE Open Bucharest, taking place from September 16-18.

The following eight teams have been invited to the closed stage:

Russia Gambit Denmark Dignitas  Denmark X Sweden Epsilon
Ukraine HellRaisers  Poland Kinguin Turkey Space Soldiers  Finland ENCE

DreamHack are expected to reveal the six directly invited teams in the coming days.
