Group B over and out!

SK Gaming and Blank proceed through the second group at today’s WGT tournament here at DreamHack.

In the first round on de_inferno, Evilzone surprised by beating Blank 16-14, while SK Gaming could settle for a more comfortable 16-5 versus Strike.

Round two was played with two superior winners taking form of Blank who beat strike with 16-6 and SK Gaming who didn’t lose a single round against Evilzone.

Round three was had a lot of pressure on Blank and Evilzone who were both competing for the second place in the group. Blank having to beat SK Gaming and Evilzone taking on strike hoping to win.
Evilzone managed to end theier match winning 16-7 and giving them a total of two wins in the group stage. SK Gaming versus Blank on the other hand did not turn out as expected. Blank after winning the knife round chose the T side. A side that generally speaking is seen as the "worst" side. Despite that they managed to grab an amazing 10-5 half time score. After that Blank tied things up winning the gun round along with a few more making the final score 16-7. Had SK Gaming on the other hand won, Evilzone would have gone through instead of Blank.

The teams that are through to tomorrows BO3 playoffs are:

Denmark mTw
Poland MYM
Sweden SK Gaming
Sweden Blank

The next stop on today’s match journey will be in group C. A group consisting of:

Sweden fnatic
Sweden XLBet.Playzone
Sweden Giants
Norway Spelarena.no

The first matches will be played at 18.00 CET and carry on through to approximately 21.00 CET.

Evilzone, Blank and SK Gaming all had two wins. That meens that they all have six points. After that it goes down to the won round points where SK Gaming had +18, Blank had +17 and Evilzone had -5. There for SK gaming is first and Blank second.

Well we follow the same system that the tournament is built up on. So there for that should be the correct standing.

someone help - how do you find the earlier threads with the matches? on the column on the right, you only see the top active threads, but I would like to find, for example, the earlier MYM vs mtw thread. how?
