The opening matches at PGL Regional Minor Championship Europe are complete as Space Soldiers, LDLC, Epsilon, and ENCE started their campaigns with victories.

The $50,000 EU Minor which will hand out two spots at the ELEAGUE Major Offline Qualifier started with the group stage opening matches which were played as best-of-ones.

Space Soldiers and ALTERNATE aTTaX faced off on Cobblestone and the Germans had a strong CT-side to kick things off, leading 10-5 at halftime. The Turkish team were able to come back as Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş controlled the map and secured the victory with a 16-14 scoreline.

Epsilon won their first match

GODSENT played against LDLC on Overpass in the other opening match of the group. Kévin "⁠Ex6TenZ⁠" Droolans's side had a 6-0 advantage at the beginning and closed out the half 10-5 ahead. LDLC struggled on the T-side and GODSENT took the match to overtime. LDLC won the close overtime 21-19 and became the opponents of Space Soldiers in the winners' match.

The first clash in Group B was also on Cobblestone which went to overtime after both Epsilon and HEROIC had 11-4 CT-side halves. Epsilon took charge in the second overtime and won the map 26-22, advancing to the winners' match.

ENCE and HellRaisers met in the second opening match of Group B and the Finnish team, carried by Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi, won the match 16-14.

Next up in Bucharest Space Soldiers will face LDLC in the Group A winners' match while Epsilon take on ENCE in the Group B winners' match.
