Northern Arena 2016 - MontrealLiquid win 2-0, compLexity out
Liquid beat compLexity 2-0 to stay alive in Northern Arena in the Group A elimination match. The first map was compLexity’s pick, Cache, and ended 16-5. The second map, Nuke, also went Liquid’s way as they easily took it 16-3.
Liquid were able to put up the wall in the first map of the elimination map, despite it being Complexity’s pick, winning the CT side comfortably 11-4. Carrying the momentum over, Spencer "Hiko" Martin’s side were able to close the map out giving only one more round, 16-5.
EliGE was the man in form for Liquid with 123 adr in the series
The second map, Liquid’s pick, followed the same narrative as the first, with Complexity unable to make plays and going down 2-13 at the half despite starting on the CT side. Liquid were then again easily able to close it scoring three of the four rounds played after the switch for a final score of 3-16.
