Epsilon win WCA 2016 Finals

Epsilon have won WCA 2016 Finals after defeating VG.CyberZen 3-0 in the grand final.

The grand final brought together VG.CyberZen, who eliminated the Finnish team iGame.com in the semi-finals, and Epsilon who got a 2-0 victory over TYLOO.

The first map Overpass was a one-sided affair as the Swedes put on a dominant performance on the T-side. Epsilon had a 12-3 lead going into the second half and closed out the game with ease, picking up the first map 16-7.


Epsilon are the champions 

VG.CyberZen fought on the T-side on Cobblestone and were ahead 8-7 at halftime. Epsilon were not impressed and secured nine rounds on the T-side to win the map 16-11. The Chinese also had the lead on the CT-side on Mirage (9-6) but Epsilon, determined to win the tournament, came back to win it 16-13.

With this result Epsilon became the champions in Yinchuan, China by beating two of the best Chinese teams. Also in the third place decider match, iGame.com impressed by beating TYLOO 2-1.

i knew before that epsilon is going to win this easily. Only Tier 2/3 Team there. igame and Tyloo + VG are at best EU Tier 3. Don`t think it was planned to get all these shitty teams but everybody with a "name" pulled out of the Event FAZE Mouz Astralis Dignitas etc....
