Gambit kicked off the ELEAGUE Major by defeating North 16-8 on Cobblestone.

The first match at the ELEAGUE Major taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA was between Legends Gambit and Challengers North. The map was Cobblestone and Gambit started on the CT-side.

The CIS team started the game by attacking the B-site and won the first round with ease. Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif and René "⁠cajunb⁠" Borg combined for two kills each and North replied immediately, tying the game at 1-1.


Zeus & co. win their first match 

After North secured the third round, Gambit were able to buy weapons again and Danylo "⁠Zeus⁠" Teslenko' triple kill was enough to tie the game at 2-2. Mihail "⁠Dosia⁠" Stolyarov won a 1vs1 clutch to take the lead for his team and Abay "⁠HObbit⁠" Khassenov's 1v1 win over cajunb made the score 5-2.

North stopped Gambit's seven round streak and made it 8-3 after cajunb opened the round with his AWP kill. cajunb was instrumental in the following round as he got another opening kill. The AWPs proved their value for the Danes as Kristian "⁠k0nfig⁠" Wienecke got a triple kill to get his team their fifth round (5-8). They trailed 6-9 at halftime.

Rustem "⁠mou⁠" Telepov and Zeus won the 3vs4 in the pistol round and Gambit were victorious in the anti-ecos. cajunb's triple kill put North back on the map but Dauren "⁠AdreN⁠" Kystaubayev's own triple made the score 13-7. Gambit won the match 16-8.
