DH Tours qualifiers announced

Details regarding qualification for the 3rd stop of the DreamHack Astro Open circuit have been released, with the action set to start on April 1st in both EU and NA.

As is usual with DreamHack Open events, DreamHack Tours will feature eight teams, six which will be invited and two that will earn their spot through the qualification cycle.

The action will take place on April 1-2 in both Europe and North America, with the first day being reserved for the 128-team open qualifier and the closed qualifier following on the second day. Only the best team from each region will earn a spot at the $100,000 LAN that will take place on May 6-8th.

The full schedule is as follows:

1st April - 15:00 CET - Open qualifier max 128 teams, 4 teams qualifies to closed qualifier

2nd April - 15:00 CET - Closed qualifier - 8 teams, 4 invited, 4 from open qualifier, 1 team qualifies to Tours

1st April - 4pm EST - Open qualifier max 128 teams, 4 teams qualifies to closed qualifier

2nd April- 4pm EST - Closed qualifier - 8 teams, 4 invited, 4 from open qualifier, 1 team qualifies to Tours

EU qualifier:

1st April - 15:00 CET - Open qualifier max 128 teams, 4 teams qualifies to closed qualifier
2nd April - 15:00 CET - Closed qualifier - 8 teams, 4 invited, 4 from open qualifier, 1 team qualifies to Tours

NA qualifier:

1st April - 4pm EST - Open qualifier max 128 teams, 4 teams qualifies to closed qualifier
2nd April - 4pm EST - Closed qualifier - 8 teams, 4 invited, 4 from open qualifier, 1 team qualifies to Tours

To sign up for the qualifier, a player representative must log in to the ESEA website and open a support ticket, providing information that is lined out here.

The qualifiers will be cast by Vince "Metuz" Hill on DreamHack's Twitch channel.

If VP refused to go to Sydney, I believe they will still want to keep 'one-lan-a-month' tactic, and because Tours is couple of hours flight from poland they should not refuse invite here. Sadly most top 10 teams will be in Sydney but there are still some good ones, so we could expect NIP, NaVi, Fnatic, Gambit. Maybe Mouz or immortals amongs them, so still Tier 1 tournament.
