Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker has joined compLexity ahead of Fragadelphia 11.

The move comes almost two weeks after the organization parted ways with Kia "⁠Surreal⁠" Man who had been with the team for more than a year after he moved to the US from the UK.

The organization explained that the decision was based on performance and was made by the players, coaching staff, and management.

yay will be in action at Fragadelphia 11

Complexity have now found their fifth player in Jaccob "⁠yay⁠" Whiteaker who has competed with various ESEA Main and Premier teams since 2015. The player will step up to the primary AWPer role in Complexity.

"When we began looking at new players for the AWP role, yay was not at the top of the list. It took just one practice session to change that opinion." said Kyle Bautista, General Manager of compLexity.

"Though Jaccob does not have the experience that some other player options possessed, he has demonstrated skills that are rarely found at even the highest levels of play."

"His youth may be just what is needed to rejuvenate the squad and kickstart our results in the upcoming season. We're excited to be taking a chance on a young gun, and we hope it pays off!"

Forgive me for I am not familiar with ODEAG. Who is he? Although I can agree with the fact that Complexity is not going anywhere fast. It's nice to see them adding fresh NA blood to the team but the team is stale as they alluded to in the quote.

Yayster the Midwest lan resident shit talker :) glad he's changed his ways and a team picked him up.

Not only that, he spent multiple seasons in prem just roster hopping and getting kicked because (according to some previous teammates) he had an incredibly shit attitude. Still kinda hoped he'd finish out this season of prem, hopefully make the MDL LAN, to at least gain experience in that aspect. He's certainly skilled enough.

i always wondered why compLexity as an organization hasn't been able to get more serious sponsors all these years, to at least try to compete "money wise" with bigger orgs and get more skilled players. Is it because of their CEO's ?
