k1ck accept MUTiRiS offer

k1ck have announced that they have accepted an offer for Christopher "MUTiRiS" Fernandes.

In the official announcement, k1ck state that Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes will play in a "different country", with his new team due to be revealed early next week, HLTV.org has learned.

MUTiRiS has spent most of the last eight years playing for k1ck, first in 1.6 and then in CS:GO, attending multiple international events, including KODE5 2009, three ESWC events (2010, 2014 and 2016) and WESG Europe.

MUTiRiS leaves k1ck

This will be the 24-year-old's second stint abroad after previously playing for Spanish team OverGaming in 2015 alongside players like Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira, Christian "⁠loWel⁠" Garcia Antoran and Xavi "⁠Aguila⁠" Casals Sabi.

"I would like to thank K1ck for always being there for me through thick and thin, for so long," he told k1ck's website.

"Now that the time has come to face a different challenge, I hope that they continue on their path, filled with success."

With MUTiRiS' departure, k1ck's team has been depleted to just two players, after João "⁠horvy⁠" Horvath was sold to Immortals and Joao "⁠KILLDREAM⁠" Ferreira chose to leave the squad following the end of his contract with the organisation.

Pedro "⁠million⁠" Teixeira

It's growing slowly... Finally there is better events, 2017 is being our best year in terms of events because brands have been investing in events here. Not really on play level because lineups have been shaking up a lot for a lot of teams... Also, we have achieved our first pro team (I mean, good salary to allow players to dedicate their lifes to csgo) but it's with a brazillian lineup, but I hope there will be more pro teams with a portuguese lineup. Now there will be two different leagues (one is from the same organizer of LoLegends league) starting this September. We believe 2018 will be the most consistent year in both ways (events, teams and viewers)

Finally we are getting a league. So far we only had events of a winner prize of 5000€ but there are two leagues starting this month. But our real problem is the support to the players (money) so they can dedicate their time just to csgo professionally instead of having a daily job and then practise csgo at night. Maybe with these leagues we can get more sponsors to achieve that.
